Glenn Duncan has more than 30 years’ experience across tourism, hospitality, customer service and sales, including over 25 years in executive‑level DMO leadership roles representing two of Canada’s major cities, including its capital, Ottawa.
In his current role as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Ottawa Tourism, Glenn oversees all marketing initiatives and leads teams across Meetings and Conventions, Sport and Cultural Events, and Travel Trade.
Throughout his career, Glenn has served on numerous boards and committees and has been an active contributor to industry associations, including as North American representative on the ICCA Board of Directors and as a member of the Destination Canada Business Events Advisory Board.
A committed mentor, Glenn is recognized as a strategist and visionary who continues to champion Canadian tourism, support emerging leaders, and collaborate on innovative tourism projects and campaigns. He values the long‑standing professional relationships built throughout his career.
