Azlina Ishak is a marketing strategist and leader with more than 25 years' experience driving global technology initiatives, government relations and international policy development. She is dedicated to advancing the digital economy through strategic partnerships and global collaboration.
Azlina currently serves as Director of Marketing and Communications at the World Innovation Technology and Services Alliance (WITSA), contributing to policy and governance initiatives across global task forces and ecosystem hubs. Her experience includes navigating complex regulatory environments, fostering public private collaboration, and supporting the delivery of major international events such as the World Congress on Innovation and Technology (WCIT).
Previously, Azlina was General Manager of Industry Affairs at PIKOM, Malaysia’s National Tech Association, where she worked closely with policymakers and government agencies. She also spent a significant tenure at the Multimedia Development Corporation, now Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), managing trade missions, corporate events, and international advisory panel meetings.
Azlina holds an MBA in Strategic Management from the International Islamic University and a BA in Corporate Communications from Western Michigan University.
