Various festivals and concerts take place on 21,600 m² of well-maintained green space, especially in the summer months. These include the PyroGames—the duel of the pyrotechnicians.
The area also offers additional space for trade fairs and product presentations, as well as accompanying open-air catering. For the Thuringia Exhibition, additional temporary halls will also be erected on the open-air grounds to increase the covered exhibition space.
