Amber Herrewijn is a senior lecturer and researcher in event management and a capacity builder and BEFuture project leader at NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences and the European Tourism Futures Institute.
She specializes in event management and collaborates with festivals and business event partners to develop innovative prototypes. Amber is currently developing a freely available sustainability training for event planners.
Her work sits at the intersection of academia and industry, with a focus on circularity, sustainability and supporting emerging talent.
