Julia oversees the strategic development, content and marketing communications of Messe Frankfurt’s consumer goods fairs portfolio, which includes internationally recognized trade shows such as Ambiente, Christmasworld and Creativeworld in Germany, as well as global brands including Beautyworld, Interior Lifestyle and Paperworld.
Julia joined Messe Frankfurt in 2008 after earning her BA in German philology and literature, with a focus on journalism and political science, from Otto‑Friedrich‑University in Bamberg. Following a traineeship in Corporate Communications, she held roles in internal communications and corporate publishing before becoming Director of Marketing Communications Consumer Goods in 2011. In 2017, Julia was appointed Vice President Consumer Goods and expanded her responsibilities in 2021.
Julia lives in Frankfurt am Main with her husband and two children. Outside work, she’s passionate about communication trends, culture and travel.
