Bambis Charalambous is a project manager and consultant with over 20 years’ experience leading complex IT projects across the banking, retail and event management sectors. He is currently Operations Manager at ERA Ltd, a professional congress organizer, he oversees the delivery of key event projects, drives the transition to cloud-based event management solutions, and champions process optimization initiatives to improve operational efficiency.

Throughout his career, Bambis has held senior roles at organizations including Oracle, where he served as Principal Pre-Sales Consultant for Cloud ERP solutions across the CEE region; Bank of Piraeus, where he led business process modeling and workflow automation initiatives; and Bank of Cyprus (Greece), where he headed the Project Management Office, managing cross-functional teams and projects with budgets of up to €800K. Earlier in his career, he served as Country Manager for software vendor CRM.COM in Greece. His professional journey began at EDI Hellas S.A. IT Advisory Services, where he served as Chief Technology Officer reporting directly to the CEO and contributing to the company’s growth as a founding member of the core management team.

Bambis holds an MSc in Telematics from the University of Surrey (UK), a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Patras (Greece), a Diploma in Financial Management from ACCA, and a PRINCE2 Practitioner certification.
