The Nagoya MICE Experience Program is the official curated collection of 21 authentic experiences designed exclusively for international MICE groups visiting Nagoya, developed by Tourism Designers Co., Ltd and the Nagoya Convention & Visitors Bureau.
The program offers exclusive access and experiences that simply cannot be booked as a regular tourist: private after-hours access to Nagoya Castle's Honmaru Palace, geisha and maiko entertainment at historic ryotei, authentic tea and incense ceremonies at the Tamesaburo Memorial Museum (a 1934 registered cultural property built specifically for tea), iaido training and performance on a Noh stage led by one of Japan's highest-ranking swordmasters, and the signature Endoji Shopping Street Party for up to 500 guests in Nagoya's oldest historic arcade.
Beyond these flagship experiences, the program includes traditional crafts (Arimatsu shibori dyeing, Owari cloisonné, Obara washi papermaking, wagashi confectionery), wellness activities (sky yoga 46 floors above the city, private temple yoga and zazen, meditation with Buddhist monks), and hands-on cultural workshops (kimono dressing with half-day rental, miso-nikomi udon co-creation, koinobori and hina doll crafts).
All programs offer English and Chinese language support, accommodate groups from 4 to 500 participants, and range from ¥2,000 to ¥30,000 per person. Muslim-friendly and allergy-friendly arrangements are available for select programs. Each itinerary is custom-designed around your group's interests, schedule, and budget.
