Patrick Schmidt is a brand experience architect and identity strategist dedicated to the philosophy of story living over storytelling. As Executive Creative Director at George P. Johnson (GPJ) Germany, he bridges digital innovation with physical environments to create sustainable, human‑centered brand interactions.

With a background in architecture and more than two decades' experience spanning fashion brands and major agency networks, Patrick has built a career around what he calls identity architecture. In 2015, he founded THE SANE Company, a boutique design studio acquired by GPJ in 2022 to strengthen their global experience‑design capabilities. His expertise lies in translating complex brand identities into immersive, hybrid environments for clients such as Porsche, Lego, IBM and MINI.

Beyond his agency work, Patrick is also an educator and founder committed to elevating the human factor in design. He continues to push the boundaries of how brands and audiences connect in a modern world shaped by constant change.
