Sustainability initiatives include the elimination of single-use plastic water bottles through in-room filtered drinking water systems, refillable and eco-conscious guest amenities, smart energy and water conservation systems, as well as extensive LED and renewable energy initiatives integrated into daily operations.

These efforts have already created measurable environmental impact, including the elimination of more than 125,000 plastic bottles annually, avoidance of approximately 2.6 tons of plastic waste, reduction of over 564 kg of CO₂ emissions through food waste initiatives, and a 5.23% reduction in electricity consumption through smart energy management systems. The hotel has also successfully diverted over 51,600 single-use toiletry bottles yearly through refillable dispensers and implemented sustainable waste and recycling practices to further reduce its environmental footprint.

The hotel’s sustainability journey has also been recognised through several industry accolades, including the Borneo Inspires Legacy Awards 2025 for Sarawak Industry Champion, as well as the Miri Mayor’s Awards 2025 winner for Environment awards.
